Six suspects have now been arrested in connection with the mass shooting at a “Sweet 16” birthday party that left four dead and 32 injured in Dadeville, Alabama.
On Thursday, authorities announced that three more suspects had been taken into custody, including a 15-year-old boy who has not been named because of his age, Johnny Letron Brown, 20, and Willie George Brown Jr., 19. Has gone.
Following the previous arrests of Wilson Lamar Hill Jr., 20, and brothers Ty Rick McCullough, 17, and Travis McCullough, 16, that brings the total number of people arrested in connection with the shooting to six.
All six have been charged with four counts of negligent homicide.
The latest arrest comes five days after the horrific attack at Mahogany Masterpiece Dance Studio on Saturday night.
One of the four people killed in the incident was high school football star PhilStavius ”Phil” Dowdell, 18, and it is revealed that he died saving the life of his sister, Alexis, who was having a birthday celebration.
Shaunkivia Nicole “Keke” Smith, 17, Marcia Collins, 19, and Corbin Holston, 23, were also killed.
No motive has been given by the police.
A high school star who was among the victims of a mass shooting in Alabama has died saving his sister’s life.
The shooting happened Saturday night during Phil Dowdell’s sister Alexis’ “Sweet 16” birthday party at Mahogany Masterpiece Dance Studio.
Dowdell pushed his sister to the ground as shots rang out inside the dance studio at around 10.34 p.m. “I think he tried to push me out the door as fast as he could,” Alexis told The Associated Press.

America has suffered another tragic outbreak of gun violence, this time at a “Sweet 16” birthday party in Dadeville, Alabama, that left four people dead and 28 others injured.

17-year-old Ty Reek McCullough and his 16-year-old brother Travis McCullough were arrested by Alabama police in connection with the Dadeville shooting that left four people dead.
However, a 36-year-old man, also named Travis McCullough, has been receiving threatening and hateful messages on social media.

Mr. McCullough works as a delivery driver and lives 40 miles northeast in the Valley. He initially started deleting hate comments and DMs, but later realized he might need proof of threats if something bad happened.

The five people charged in the fatal shooting, including three teenagers, are being held without bond at the Tallapoosa County Jail.
Authorities wrote in court documents filed Thursday that they believe all five were present at the party and “discharged firearms into the crowd” resulting in the deaths of four people.
The party was in full swing at a dance studio not far from the town square when the shots rang out.

The shots rang out at a birthday party for Dowdell’s sister, Alexis Dowdell, which was being held at a dance studio just off the city’s Courthouse Square. Several people began shooting shortly after Dowdell’s mother with a gun stopped the festivities to ask people to leave, witnesses said.
