Actress to return as spa manager Belinda in HBO’s third season White lotus, the news was earlier reported by Diversity And then Rothwell confirmed it on Twitter. The role earned her an Emmy nomination for the first season.
“My heart is filled! Words cannot express how excited, grateful and humbled I am to have the chance to breathe life into Belinda once again.” he tweeted, “Thank you for all the love and support today. I’m overwhelmed, so happy and over the f–ing Moon!”
Created by Mike White, the HBO anthology series has so far followed a different story in a new White Lotus resort each season, albeit with some returning characters. In season two, the main returning star was Jennifer Coolidge as Tanya. But – spoiler alert! Tanya ends up in the finale when she falls off a boat and dies. By the end of the first season, Tanya tells Belinda that she will not invest in her wellness business as they had discussed, but leaves an envelope of cash for her. so the fans have guessed Belinda may return in Season 3 as Tanya left more money in her will.
It is unclear whether any other cast members may return. White lotus‘ latest outing, though Connie Britton teased first She was scheduled to return for a second season and “we intend to do it in a third season.” The third season will reportedly take place in Thailand, and White has teased that it will be a “satirical and funny look at death and Eastern religion and spirituality”. He also suggested in an interview broadcast on HBO that Tanya’s death could result in a fallout.
“It looks like someone who’s going to track [Tanya’s death] down back [her husband] Greg,” White teased, “maybe you’ll have to wait to find out what happens.”
