49ers' Taber Pepper calls Elon Musk a 'little b-' after losing verification, makes his Twitter private

Lots of people are fine without their blue checkmark on Twitter, but one member of the San Francisco 49ers is not happy.

Long snapper Taber Peppers is one of the many people who haven’t paid Elon Musk for Twitter Blue. Hence, he lost his verification on Thursday.

The paper took its complaints to the owner of the social media site.

“That little b-ch @elonmusk finally did it, he took my check mark. I’m never gonna pay for this st platform btw. #BelugaWhaleLookinAss,” he tweeted. via New York Post,

Shortly after sending the tweet, he made his account private.

Lots of A-listers lost their blue checkmarks, including former President Trump, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Beyoncé and others. And they don’t seem to be in any rush to pay Musk $8 a month to keep it.

LeBron James still has Blue Verification, despite previously saying he wouldn’t pay for it. Musk revealed that he was “paying for some personally.”

Under the revised system, only government accounts, such as President Biden’s official Twitter account, are eligible for free verification. Individuals and businesses, no matter how prominent, will no longer have a blue check mark unless they pay Twitter.
