The Hero10 Black (8/10, WIRED recommends) isn’t the latest GoPro, but it’s still a great camera. It extracts more resolution from the 23.6-megapixel sensor and adds better image stabilization than its predecessor. The main place this camera is overtaken by the new Hero11 is with the new, more quadruple processor; image stabilization; and high-resolution pictures from videos. Still, the quality of results you get from the Hero10 is probably going to be much higher. It’s cheaper if you buy directly from GoPro. Just remember to set a reminder to cancel the included 1-year GoPro subscription.
